Sheikh Rashid refuses to accept Shehbaz Sharif as PAC chairman

Lahore: Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmad Thursday reiterated his criticism over the appointment of Shehbaz Sharif as the chairman of Public Accounts Committee (PAC). Addressing a news conference in Lahore, he refused to accept Sharif as PAC head and considered referring to Supreme Court over the matter. He also bashed Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader Rana Sanaullah saying that people like him had damaged democracy. A total of 20 new trains will be run before completion of first year of the incumbent government, announced the minister. Ahmed asserted that two VVIP train services will be launched before March 23 next year. The minister said two new air-conditioned and two economy class trains will also be run.
