Italy doesn’t deny visas to eligible students: Ambassador Stefano Pontecorvo

Islamabad: Italy’s ambassador to Pakistan Stefano Pontecorvo Tuesday said that his country never refuses genuine applicants of student visas.

The envoy said all complete applications are seriously considered and visas are issued. “We certainly don’t deny them. The genuine applicants get their visas. The applicants need to complete the requirements, that’s all,” he said.

Ambassador Pontecorvo said the applicants who meet the criteria had always been granted visas without delays. “Four hundred plus Pakistani students who had all necessary requirements were issued a study visa for Italy only this year,” he said.

A student from Pakistan needs the D National Visa to study in Italy. This visa is made specifically for students who are ready to begin their study abroad adventure.

Praising Italy is not so easy: Where do you even start? Italy is home to the oldest university in the world, University of Bologna; and, since its inception, the educational system never stopped growing and improving.

With student discounts, thousands of Bachelor’s degrees, and a beautiful and diverse country, it’s no wonder students pick Italy as their international destination for a graduate degree.

Famous Italians, like da Vinci, Borgia, Versace, and Vivaldi revolutionized the fields of Architecture, Music, Engineering, and Fashion. One can follow in their footsteps with a Bachelor’s degree rooted in their tradition.
