PML-N seeks active role after Iranian commander’s killing

Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) senator Raja Zafar-ul-Haq in his address to senate said that Pakistan should play a more active role following the killing of Iranian commander Major-General Qassem Soleimani as United Nations has failed on US-Iran issue.

PML-N senator criticized international institutions and said that UN has failed to play an effective role on US-Iran and Kashmir issue.

He further added that Israel and other western countries supported American action and said that UN quickly takes action on issues that are of interest to power countries.

Earlier Raja Zafar-ul-Haq demanded foreign minister to come to the Senate and take the lawmakers into confidence over the situation in the Middle East.
