Bilawal Bhutto criticises Center for cutting Sindh’s Rs 229 billion share

Karachi: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Saturday said that cutting Rs229 billion from Sindh’s share amid coronavirus pandemic is unfair.

He said that Centre should have announced a coronavirus package for all provinces.

Bilawal Bhutto, while addressing a press conference, said that President of PML-N Shehbaz Sharif will convene All Parties Conference (APC) after recovering from the novel coronavirus to discuss NFC award. Notification of NFC award issued by the federal government is illegal and opposition will present a united stance on the award, he added.

PPP Chairman while criticizing PTI government, said that in time of crisis governments try to create unity and instead of opposition, Prime Minister Imran Khan is busy in playing politics on coronavirus issue. He urged PTI government to change its practices and instead of criticizing CM Sindh and provincial ministers, it should focus on facing issues seriously.

Bilawal further said that the budget does not even allocates fund to deal with locusts attacks and claimed that budget is only for development work in constituencies of government MPAs and MNAs.
