Pakistan will become major economic hub of world with China’s help: Information Minister

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry has said that Pakistan would become the major economic hub of the world with the help of China.

He further said Pakistan wants peace with India as it would pave the way for Pakistan, India and China to emerge as a major global economic hubs.

“We will be able to connect ourselves with Central Asia, and from Central Asia we will be able to connect with the European Union,” he said in a statement.

Chaudhry said Prime Minister Imran Khan had the vision that Pakistan and India must come to terms on Kashmir so that Pakistan, India and China can become the centre of two biggest markets of the world.

“Just imagine the magnitude of opportunities the entire region had been missing due to irresponsible, illegal and oppressive Indian policies,” he remarked.

The Minister said he was happy to note that screening of five Pakistani films in Beijing was part of the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of Pakistan-China diplomatic relations.

“The filmmakers are developing content for an international audience. We assure the local filmmakers that Ministry of Information will support them to exhibit their films in the world,” he added.
