Pakistan-China friendship getting stronger with every passing day: Deputy Speaker National Assembly

Islamabad: Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Qasim Khan Suri has said that Pakistan-China friendship was getting stronger with every passing day.

In a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong here, Suri declared that Pakistan-China friendship was an example for the whole world. The two discussed bilateral relations and important regional and global issues, according to the official details released after the meeting.

The Deputy Speaker appreciated that Pakistan and China shared a common position on regional and global issues. The two friendly countries have supported each other’s position in regional and international forums, he highlighted.

The Deputy Speaker stressed that the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project was in the best interest of both the friendly countries. He remarked that CPEC was a project for the development and prosperity of the entire region.

During the meeting, Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong thanked Deputy Speaker Qasim Khan Suri’s sentiments for China. The envoy underlined that China and Pakistan stood by each other in every difficult time.
