Karachi: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that Imran Khan is playing a dangerous game, who does not want election but selection again, adding, a conspiracy is brewing in Bani Gala against the federal democratic system of the country.

He further said that on the diplomatic front, Pakistan’s policy now is “not begging, but trade”, through restoring bilateral ties with old friends and making new ones.

When PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari arrived in Karachi for the first time on Sunday evening after becoming Foreign Minister, he was greeted with a rousing welcome.

Addressing the reception, the youngest Foreign Minister of the country, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, said that the people of Pakistan have won as they have succeeded in sending home the most incompetent, incapable, puppet Prime Minister. He said that when the puppet government was imposed, they went out to fight against it. “We said bluntly that this government is not elected, but selected one, and we will never accept such illegitimate government. When we started the long march against Imran Khan regime, we demanded to dissolve the assembly, but then he was intoxicated with power,” he added.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that after Imran Khan came to power, he did not fulfill a single promise to the people, adding that instead of constucting new houses for poor people, their shelters were demolished in the name of encroachment, and new records of corruption were set instead of eradicating corruption. “We had told the Puppet that the constitution is a gift of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and if you attack it and hurt the people then we will not remain silent,” he reminded.

Chairman PPP said that Imran Khan wanted to make all the institutions of the country his tiger force of PTI. Imran Khan wanted the institutions of our country, media, judiciary, parliament, speaker, allies and the opposition as a tiger force, adding that was not want to see any institution working independently. He said that Imran Khan wanted our national institutions, be it army or ISI, did not want these to be uncontroversial. “He wanted Establishment to support him like the Tiger Force,” he added.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari urged the nation that it has to fight against the lies and propaganda of Imran Khan, who is running a campaign, “mujhy Ku Nahin Bachaya” at the moment and wants to make national institutions his tiger force. He said that Imran Khan’s “Tabdeeli” (change) made life difficult for the common men. “Imran Khan’s new name is now “Bohran Khan”, because there was a crisis in whatever he touched. He said that Imran Khan is the first Prime Minister of the world who says that if he is not in power then an atom bomb should be dropped on his country.

Pakistan’s foreign minister said that Imran Khan’s foreign policy was confused, and if he had any policy, it was “Kashkool” (begging bowl). Imran Khan kept giving miss calls to Modi and America during his rule. When there was no response from there, he vented his anger from the foreign policy of the country. Imran Khan says that the White House conspired against him, while I tell him that it was not the White House but Bilawal House that conspired against him. He said that Imran Khan also talks a lot about his visit to Russia, but everyone knows that he talks more and works none.

Chairman PPP said that even after the no-confidence motion was tabled, the former prime minister had threatened his party that there would be one of the immediate elections or martial law. He said that Imran Khan was still trying to create conditions in the country for the benefit of others. He further said that a parliamentary commission would be formed on the issue of violation of constitution by Imran Khan and his associates, but the entire PTI including Imran Khan should apologize for the incident that took place in Masjid-e-Nabwi.

Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that like the undemocratic forces, we are not talking about “first accountability then elections”, but pre-election reforms. He said that PPP does not believe in politics of revenge, otherwise Rana Sanaullah would have ropped in all of them by now. “We have competed before and are still ready to compete politically,” he said. We sent this puppet home with 172 constitutional slaps, while democracy was won by a court decision of five against zero.

PPP Chairman said that a few months ago, no one could have imagined that his party would join hands with Shahbaz Sharif and MQM to form a government and he would join the cabinet himself. He said that when the country is in trouble, one has to forget one’s differences and work for the nation. “If we pursue an independent foreign policy, opportunities can be created for the country’s economy,” he added.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Imran Khan had emptied the coffers on his way out. This man harmed the country at the foreign level. He isolated the country for the sake of his ego, damaged the foreign policy, damaged the economy to see himself as the Prime Minister.

Chairman PPP said that his party has seen the most difficult situation, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was martyred. After the martyrdom of the Quaid-e-Awam, when an attempt was made to burn the American flag during the historic rally in Lahore, Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto stopped people from doing so saying that we will not harm the interests of Pakistan. He further said that after the martyrdom of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, when the slogans of “Na Khappy” were being chanted and the country was burning, Asif Ali Zardari had raised the slogan of “Pakistan Khappy”.

Addressing the employees of Steel Mills, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the Ministry of Privatization is with the PPP, therefore a new plan can be worked out for the rehabilitation of Steel Mills. If a project like Thar Coal can be used to supply electricity to the whole of Pakistan through a public-private partnership, then steel mills can also be run. He said that Imran Khan snatched the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) card from the hands of poor women but we would also find a solution for the affected women. “We have taken over the ministries of water and climate change because we have better programs for these sectors,” he said.

PPP Sindh President Nisar Ahmed Khuhro and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also addressed on the occasion, while provincial ministers, assembly members and party officials were also present.
