Internal security largely improved: Bajwa

Karachi: Chief of Army Staff Qamar Javed Bajwa on Wednesday said the internal security in the country has largely improved as it paves the way for foreign investment.
 He made these remarks during his visit to the Thar coal project where he was given a detailed briefing on progress of the various pilot projects.
 The army chief said: “We will continue to play our part in ensuring secure environment for business and entrepreneurship in Pakistan by both local and foreign investors.”
 Earlier, the army chief paid a visit to the forward troops in Gadra Sector Sindh. He commended operational preparedness and high state of morale of the troops.
 He said that Pakistan Army was fully committed to guard the frontiers of country. Lieutenant General Humayun Aziz, commander Karachi Corps accompanied the COAS during the visit.
