JIT has lost credibility: PPP

Islamabad: The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) has lost its credibility after the Supreme Court verdict to remove Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairperson Bilawal Bhutto from the Exit Control List (ECL), the party said Monday. Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar, the spokesperson to Bilawal Bhutto said that with the verdict of Supreme Court, the JIT has totally lost its credibility and it has been proved beyond doubt that National Accountability Bureau (NAB) NAB has been politicized and acting with bias. Senator Khokhar said that Supreme Court verdict has declared that putting the names of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on ECL was based on bad intention which shows that this JIT report is not based on facts rather is a product of political pressure. Senator Khokhar demanded that the entire cabinet should apologize to Chairman Bilawal and Murad Ali Shah for putting their names on ECL. The PTI leaders who were demanding the resignation of Murad Ali Shah should themselves resign, he added.
