Leaders in Israel, India showing moral bankruptcy: Imran Khan

Islamabad: Prime Minister Imran Khan Tuesday said the leaders in Israel and India are showing a moral bankruptcy in their readiness to annex occupied West Bank and occupied Kashmir.

In a tweet, he said their acts, for votes, are in defiance of the international law, UNSC resolutions and their own constitution.

“When ldrs in Israel & India show a moral bankruptcy in their readiness to annex occupied West Bank & IOK in defiance of int law, UNSC resolutions & their own Constitution for votes, don’t their ppl feel a sense of outrage & wonder how far they will go simply to win an election,” he tweeted.

The Prime Minister wondered why do not their own people feel a sense of outrage and wonder how far they will go simply to win an election.

Talking to Commander of US Central Command General Kenneth McKenzie Jr, in Islamabad, Prime Minister Imran Khan has said the policy to seek direct engagement with Afghan stakeholders, including Taliban, to find a negotiated solution has the greatest prospects to end the conflict in Afghanistan.

He said Pakistan has a long standing commitment to peace and stability in Afghanistan through political settlement.

The Prime Minister reiterated Pakistan’s desire to have good neighbourly relations with all its neighbours including Afghanistan and India.
