Bilawal, Zardari have given a way forward to govt: Rehman Malik

Islamabad: PPP Senior Leader and Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Interior Senator A. Rehman

Malik, on Wednesday delivered his speech at the joint session of the parliament – called after Indian move of

revoking the special status of the territory.

Senator A. Rehman Malik highly appreciated Asif Ali Zardari and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for their vocal and

brave speeches on the issue of Kashmir wherein they gave a way forward to the government on Indian illegal

move. He said that during the PPP tenure, there was a constant watch on Kashmir and Indian moves were being observed and responded well in time and a lot of work was done by PPP on Kashmir issue.

He said that India has anti-Pakistan mind-set since day first and particularly during the Modi’s tenure anti-

Pakistan sentiments are further enhanced. He said that the recent move of India to annul Article 370 and 35-A

is not only strongly condemnable but also against the United Nations Resolutions and International Laws.

Senator Malik said that we have the option of war which is not recommended but we have option to confront Indian Move on two fronts that is Diplomatic Front and Legal Front to go in ICJ against India and Modi for War crimes against Kashmiri people. He said ‘’keeping in this view I, Senator Rehman Malik, with abundance

of evidence against Mr. Modi hereby Charge-sheet you. I am sure that this is the best way to counter India

and expose its ugly face before the world.’’

He said that India nulled Article 370 as PM Modi wanted to fulfillhis commitment with his master “the chief

of RSS” by bulldozing the special status of Kashmir. He added that PM Narendra Modi knows it well that

Kashmir keeps the importance of jugular vein to Pakistan that’s why he either plays Pakistan card or harms

Kashmir to affect Pakistan through it. Senator Rehman Malik further said that PM Modi cheated his own

nation by doing act of Pulwama as it was proven to be not possible to bring such massive amounts of

explosives (750 pounds) by infiltrating the border also that it had been taken from local stashes of explosives.

He said that PM Modi also cheated on his people by his tall claims of killing over 300 Pakistanis in Balakot

surgical strike. Despite the fact that his white lies were exposed badly on International level, he kept boasting

of the strike.

He said we should not stay quite as it is not just about the sovereignty of our country alone but also about the

lives of our Kashmiri brothers and sisters who are brutally killed by Indian Army on Modi’s command. We

need to drag him to the International court of justice in the following grounds:

“We need to file a petition to the ICJ against India for violating the UNO resolution as Kashmir is an

internationally declared disputed territory and no country can change the status of a state that has been

declared to be disputed under UN Security Council Resolutions,” he said.

The Rome Statute of the International criminal court, he said, should be invoked as Modi contains the history

of committing crimes against humanity and genocide of Muslims. Rome statute is a multilateral treaty, is the

foundation and governing document of the International Criminal Court (ICC).

He said that it is really unfortunate to note that alone since January 1989 till 31st January 2018, 94,644

innocent Kashmiris have been killed, 7, 099 were killed in custody, 11,042 women were gang-raped and 7, 485

were injured by pellets among which hundreds lost their eye sights by brutal Indian Forces.

Senator Rehman Malik said that Modi is terrorist financer, Money Launderer and protector of fugitives in his country. He said that PM Modi has also been declared as being one of the top ten wanted terrorists list. He is

the only Prime Minister in the whole world to have been barred to enter USA for a decade under the

International Religious Freedom Act (IRFA) provision of US Immigration and Nationality Act (INA).

Senator Malik in his speech at joint session urged that let us move a case of violation of UNO charter and a

solid case of war crime against Modi under Rome Statute which grants ICC jurisdiction over crimes of

genocide, ethnic cleansing and crimes against humanity etc.
