Bologna: Bologna is offering free coronavirus tests to dispatch riders, couriers and those working in the food delivery sector.
The initiative, organised by the Bologna municipal authorities, is designed to ensure greater “health and safety for riders and citizens.”
The city says the offer is open to all riders, “regardless of the company they work for.”
Delivery workers are being offered a free swab test and, in the case that it comes back positive, a molecular test.
The city says that it hopes its initiative will be replicated by courier companies as well as other cities in Italy.
