Bilawal Bhutto sets conditions to join federal cabinet

Islamabad: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has set conditions to join the federal cabinet urging PM Shehbaz Sharif to include ANP and Mohsin Dawar in the team.

Sources said Bilawal Bhutto had agreed to take the portfolio of the foreign minister only if Mohsin Dawar of the National Democratic Movement (NDM) and Awami National Party (ANP) are also included in the federal cabinet.

The sources confirmed there is no deadlock between PPP and PML-N over the portfolio of foreign minister. However, Bilawal is seeking to include ANP and NDM in the cabinet.

Sources in PPP said that Bilawal will soon fly to London to felicitate PML-N Chief Nawaz Sharif on election of Shehbaz Sharif as the prime minister.

Meanwhile, a 34-member cabinet of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took the oath on Tuesday.

The cabinet includes 31 federal ministers and four ministers of state while there will be three advisers to the Prime Minister.
