Zahid Abbas Shah demonstrates loyalty to PPP

Taj Haider welcomes new entries

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari believes in the youth of the country and wants to bring a real change, his spokesperson Senator Mustafa Khokhar said on Sunday.

Conveying a message of the PPP leader to the university students in Germany who announced to join the party, Senator Mustafa Khokhar said Bilawal Bhutto was the hope for the nation. The event was organised online via zoom.

The PPP leader welcomes the students into the party’s youth wing and urged them to promote Pakistan’s image abroad.

The university students joined the PPP thanks to the efforts of PPP Germany President Zahid Abbas Shah, who has shown loyalty to the party since Zulfikar Ali Bhutto’s time and spent years in exile during Ziaul Haq’s dictatorship.

Mustafa Khokhar said the “rigged” general elections of 2018 had damaged Pakistan more than any other event in its history that saw Prime Minister Imran Khan coming into power two years ago.

Two years ago, he said, a selection was held which has caused a great damage to the country and undermined its democratic system.

Speaking on the occasion, PPP Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari said the federal government had completely failed to deliver.

He said Prime Minister Imran Khan had failed to fulfill his promises of making Pakistan a corruption-free country, providing five million low cost houses and millions of jobs to the masses.

“Today, the entire nation is on one page that ‘selected’ Imran Khan has to go… he has destroyed the country’s democracy and economy.”

Senior PPP leader Taj Haider said the PPP had a history of sacrifices since it was formed by Zulfilar Ali Bhutto.

“Youth is a great asset for our party. I welcome the young students into the party,” he said.

In his comments, PPP Germany President Zahid Abbas Shah said fresh blood in the party ranks was vital for the continuity.

“We are united under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari who visited us recently in Germany. He is a ray of hope for the whole nation,” he remarked.

Zahid Abbas Shah thanked the senior party leaders for joining the event and maintained that such encouragement will give a momentum to the party activists.

The students enjoyed the company of the seniors and asked questions which were adequately answered.
