Islamabad: President Pakistan People’s Party Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Latif Akbar has said that the Kashmiri people are disappointed with the PTI government’s Kashmir policy.

The government hbas pushed Kashmir into hell and it seems that it is very difficult to come back from that hell because Kashmir is not included in Prime Minister Imran Khan’s priorities.

Chaudhry Latif Akbar said this while addressing a press conference with Chaudhry Pervez Ashraf, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, Sahibzada Zulfikar Ali, Shaheen Kausar Dar, Syed Azadar Hussain, Chaudhry Rabnawaz Tahir and Nazir Dhoki at Media Office Islamabad.

He said that it seems Kashmir has been sold for personal interests. India is changing the demography of Kashmir and this is government is unmoved. In the last one month, over 400,000 domiciles have been issued which is an effort to change majority into minority.

Chaudhry Latif Akbar said that Kashmir has been changed to a prison since 5 August 2019. Pakistan Peoples Party has always been supporting and advocating the Kashmir cause and when Kashmiris were imprisoned, the founding day of the PPP was observed in Muzaffarabad. The Kashmiri people have given their blood to keep hoisting the Kashmiri flag high. The Kashmiri people have been totally disappointed with the speech delivered by Prime Minister Imran Khan. PPP had suggested the PTI government to take along everyone and every party on the Kashmir issue. The foreign policy of the government is a failure and now a friend like Saudi Arab is also not on board.

He said that NAB is trying to break up our country by its political engineering. NAB wants to divert the attention from Kashmir where gross human rights violations are being done. NAB is acting against President Asif Ali Zardari who has given rights to the people of every province.

He demanded to close NAB so that the country can progress. Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has always raised his voice for the Kashmiri people and recently in the National Assembly; he represented the Kashmiri people by demanding plebiscite in Kashmir. Kashmir issue should be resolved through the United Nations’ resolutions.
