PPP fears potential risk of fire in NA record room

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders have expressed their concerns over a potential risk of a fire in the record room of the National Assembly due to which the CCTV video of the assembly building could be wasted to hide the issue of spy cameras found hidden in the polling booth.

This concern was expressed by the PPP leaders, Faisal Karim Kundi, Senators Palwasha Khan and Rubina Khalid in a press conference held on Sunday at PPP media office Islamabad.

Faisal Karim Kundi said that PPP has formed a legal team comprised of Senator Farooq Naek, Senator Raza Rabbani, Sardar Latif Khosa and Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari to file a petition on Tuesday or Wednesday on the issue of election of Chairman Senate.

The fact is that Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani has been elected as Chairman Senate but he was deprived of his victory as it was stolen. Presiding officer Syed Muzaffar Hussain Shah committed a crime. He said that the government spokespersons are needlessly holding press conferences one after the other about cracks in PDM however their wish will never materialize. PPP is thankful to all the parties’ Senators who remained steadfast and voted for Syed Yousuf Raza Gillani as the PDM candidate.

Kundi said that the issue of spy cameras is far bigger than the Water Gate scandal. He said that Shibli Faraz told lies about country’s economy because the common citizens of Pakistan are facing poverty, hunger, unemployment and are forced to commit suicide. He said that there is a competition between Shibli Faraz and Murad Saeed of using foul language.

Senator Palwasha Khan said that all the PTI spokespersons waste their time when criticizing PDM because their own members attempt to contact Chairman PPP on WhatsApp and that these names will be disclosed at the appropriate time. She said that hypocrites and political garbage have been gathered in PTI and it has become a dump of political garbage of Pakistan. The government is planning to increase the petroleum prices and people are suffering hugely due to the resulting inflation. The prime minister who has taken a vote of confidence from the same members, who according to him have sold their votes, is now giving a lecture on morality.
