Country ruled by incompetent govt: PPP

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party yesterday said that country was being ruled by the incompetent and inexperienced government and they don’t care about the inflation stricken poor masses.

PPP leaders Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari and Shazia Marri while holding a joint press conference said that unprecedented price hike has made the lives of people miserable while weak economy of the country could be a threat to national security.

They said that government is being run by black and pink magic and government had shown cowardice by postponing the joint session meeting while PTI led government is afraid to face foreign funding cases.

They said that PPP will not allow the government to pass any black law like Electronic Voting machines during the joint session meeting of the parliamrnt. This they said while holding a joint Press conference at Islamabad heron today. Sayed Nayyar Bukhari said the allegations levelled by the former chief justice of

Gilgit-Baltistan Rana Shamim against ex-chief justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar should be investigated and reference perturbed the execution of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto should also be taken up immediately. He said that the prevailing condition of the country’s economy is worst and the nation is in unrest and anxiety because of rising inflation ratio. The prices of essential food items are skyrocketing and beyond the purchasing power of the common men.

He added that the prices of petroleum products been increased day by day and the per unit of electricity has also increased by the government. He said that a country whose economy is weak cannot move towards the path of development and the country economy has weakened due to the policies of incompetent rulers.

Nayyar Bukhari said that the government first called on the joint session of the parliamrnt and later postponed it while they talked lies that the joint session was postponeded due to the opposition’s suggestions. He said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is brave who speaks openly against terrorists while there is contradiction in the words and deeds of Imran Khan.

Nayyar Bukhari said that PPP will celebrate the Youm-E-Tasees (foundation day) in Peshawar on November 30 and PPP had submitted an application for seeking permission to hold the event but regrettably PPP has not yet given permission by the deputy commissioner.

He said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari would visit Noushera on November 19 where he would attend a reception given by Pervez Khattak’s nephew. He said that out of 191 countries only 20 countries are using electronic voting machines in which nine countries recently have banned on the use of EVMs. Election Commission of Pakistan is responsible for holding elections in the country.

On the occasion, Shazia Marri said that the people of Pakistan are gone through difficult times and hardship due to anti-people policies of the government and people are worried because the control of the country is in the hands of Selected and incompetent rulers.

She said that PPP is a party of common people and has always talked about the rights of the people and they want to get rid of this incompetent government. Ms Marri said that the next Prime Minister will be PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari as a result of fair and transparent elections.

Imran Khan is afraid to face foreign funding case because he feared that this case will reveal his real face to the public. She said that not only opposition parties but the allies of the ruling government had already rejected the electronic voting machine’s use.

She added that Election commission of Pakistan has also raised 37 reservations on the use of Electronic voting machine, on which ruling party ministers threatened the election commission of Pakistan to set ablaze.

She said that this is a conspiracy against the eradication of politics and politicians. She uttered that we, alongwith the support of the people will send back to home to this incompetent government.
