Education best investment for future of Pakistan: Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese

Islamabad: Italy Ambassador to Pakistan Andreas Ferrarese said this week that the education is the best investment for the future of Pakistan.

Speaking at an event here, the envoy appreciated the Pakistani authorities for focusing on the education to boost the higher literacy level.

Moreover, he spoke on the fact that Italy and Pakistan maintain extensive bilateral, friendly and economic cooperation since decades and that there is a lot of potential and opportunities for the two countries to further cement their relations.

The Ambassador acknowledged that people of Pakistani origin in Italy were playing an important role in strengthening of mutual relations.

Ambassador Ferrarese mentioned that better coordination between the two countries will enhance the existing friendly ties to the benefit of both the countries.

The envoy said that Italy had been supporting Pakistan’s efforts in the education sector as a good friend.
