Chinese embassy in Pakistan overseas generous donation campaign on Eid

Islamabad: The Chinese embassy in Pakistan oversaw a generous donation campaign across Pakistan this week to ensure everybody enjoys the Eid festival as the Pakistani Muslims celebrate the Eid holidays until April 25.

Led by the Chinese embassy, the Chinese companies working in Pakistan, organised donation camps in different cities to bring smiles on the faces of the underprivileged.

The Chinese embassy tweeted on Sunday evening: “Following the spirit of Ramzan, Chinese embassy in Pakistan donated food packages to the hard working tribal families of Balochistan.”

It added: “The local people highlighted the importance of China-Pakistan friendship through love & best wishes.”

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Limited organised a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event in Karachi to donate Eid gifts.

“No one will sleep hungry. On the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr, ICBC Karachi Branch organised a CSR event to donate food packages to local low-income people to help them have a happy Eid,” the Chinese embassy tweeted on Sunday evening, highlighting the event.

In a similar effort, the MCC Resource Development Limited (MRDL) in collaboration with Saindak Metals Limited (SML) distributed 4100 free Ramzan food packages among several hundred families in 32 far-flung areas of district Chaghi in Balochistan as a gesture to deliver best Eid wishes to Pakistani friends.
