Shehbaz Sharif vows to develop CPEC’s Gwadar port in line with international standards

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has vowed to develop the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC)’s Gwadar port in line with international standards and provide best facilities to the local people of the area.

He was talking to Chairman Balochistan National Party Sardar Akhtar Mengal who called on him at his office in Islamabad.

The Prime Minister reiterated that development of Pakistan is directly linked with the development of Balochistan. He said talented Baloch youth are a valuable asset of Pakistan and their welfare is one of the top most priorities of the government.

On the occasion, the Chairman BNP on behalf of the people and elected representatives of Balochistan, expressed complete confidence in the efforts of the Prime Minister for solidarity of the country and development of Balochistan.

Sardar Akhtar Mengal acknowledged that for the first time in the history of Pakistan, development and prosperity of the youth of Balochistan has been made first priority by the Prime Minister.

He mentioned that PM Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to flood affected areas of Balochistan and sharing pain of the affected Baloch people there is something that has never happened before.

Sardar Akhtar Mengal said the Prime Minister has stabilized the country’s economy despite severe economic difficulties and calamitous floods.
