Quetta: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has won Balochistan local body elections.

Final phase of local body elections in 35 districts of Balochistan has been completed.

Pakistan People’s Party has emerged as the top political party in the local body elections by winning seven seats of district chairmen and five vice-chairmen.

PPP candidates won the seats of district chairman from their respective districts.

Mir Salahuddin Zehri has been elected as the District Chairman Khuzdar, Prince Agha Irfan Karim as the District Chairman Kalat, Ms. Rahat Faiq Jamali as District Chairman Jaffarabad, Haji Abdul Wahid Harooni as District Chairman Surab, Mir Houtman Baloch as Chairman District Kech Turbat, Mir Ali Muhammad Khosa as Chairman Suhbatpur District and Mir Elahi Bakhsh Reiki has been elected as District Chairman Washak.
