Islamabad: A delegation from the China Media Group visited Margalla Railway Station in Islamabad as part of the 10th-anniversary celebrations of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The visit aimed to showcase the advanced Chinese technology used in CPEC projects, particularly the Green Line Train, said an official statement issued here on Friday afternoon.

The delegation, comprising journalists and representatives from manufacturing companies, interacted with passengers during a short journey from Islamabad to Rawalpindi, receiving positive feedback about the train’s facilities, making long-distance travel between Islamabad and Karachi hassle-free.

A Pakistan Railways official highlighted that the Green Line Train’s popularity was due to its superior standard, and efforts were underway to reduce its travel time to less than 23 hours to further enhance passenger confidence in Pakistan Railways.
