Islamabad: Senator Sherry inaugurated the art exhibition titled “Haq – Seeking the Truth,” jointly organized by the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA) and Nomad Gallery. Addressing the inauguration session Senator Sherry Rehman said, “This exhibition is a celebration of diverse artistic expressions to explore the core of spirituality, culture, and the human experience.”

Sherry Rehman said, “I express my deep appreciation for the artistic journey undertaken by the artists, Sumera Jawad and Sameeta Ahmed. Today is a celebration of not just divinity and spirituality but Pakistan’s many splendors and layered, inclusive culture.” She emphasized the significance of exploring the multiple facets of Pakistan’s rich cultural tapestry, bridging the past with the present.

“The exhibition describes profound connection between spirituality, religion, and art. This is an exploration of many paths that we have come to. The artists’ journeys and expressions were rooted in the yearning of the soul, seeking to give voice to their innermost thoughts and emotions,” Senator Sherry Rehman said.

She said, “We need to preserve and celebrate cultural heritage through art, as it tells stories that endure through time. The exhibition is a testament to the human spirit’s perpetual quest for connection and union, both with itself and with the world around it.”

In concluding remarks, Senator Sherry Rehman praised Nageen Hyat’s dedication to art and her advocacy for women’s rights and crafts. She wished PNCA and Nomad Gallery the best wishes and success in their joint future endeavors.
