74th National Day of People’s Republic of China celebrated

Lahore: The 74th National Day of the People’s Republic of China was celebrated here.

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who recently returned from China after a succeasful official trip, was the chief guest at the cake cutting ceremony.

Mohsin Naqvi, alongside Punjab Governor Balighur Rehman, provincial ministers, and officials, participated in a cake-cutting ceremony with Acting Consul General of China, Cao Ke. They also conveyed their congratulations to Cao Ke on China’s National Day.

In a demonstration of unity and camaraderie, Balighur Rehman and Mohsin Naqvi extended warm felicitations to Cao Ke in honor of China’s National Day. The event garnered the presence of notable figures, including Consul Generals from the United States and Iran, underscoring its significance.

Federal Minister Fawad Hasan Fawad, Provincial Ministers SM Tanveer, Azfar Ali Nasir, Amir Mir, Jamal Nasir, Ibrahim Murad, Chief Secretary, Consul General of America, Consul General of Iran, and other dignitaries also participated in the ceremony.

The Acting Chinese Consul General expressed his gratitude to the participants, emphasizing that Mohsin Naqvi’s recent visit to China marked a milestone in Pakistan-China relations.

Cao Ke acknowledged the significance of Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s recent visit to China and commended it as a pivotal moment in the Pakistan-China relationship.

Naqvi reciprocated this sentiment, reflecting on the warm reception he received during his visit, attributing it to the leadership of the Party Secretary of Ningxia Province.

Mohsin Naqvi underscored the enduring nature of the friendship between Pakistan and China, describing China as an “all-weather friend, strong partner, and reliable neighbor.”

He affirmed the unity of both nations in their pursuit of a bright and peaceful future, solidifying their commitment to mutual prosperity and cooperation.

“A new chapter in the relationship between Pakistan and China has commenced, promising to unlock fresh opportunities for collaboration across various aspects of life,” Chief Minister Naqvi said.
