BTTN keen to establish joint initiatives with Chinese educational institutions, think tanks

Karachi: Head of the Balochistan Think Tank Network (BTTN) Brigadier Agha Ahmad Gul (retd) met with the Chinese Consul General in Karachi Yang Yundong.

BTTN showed a keen interest in establishing joint initiatives with Chinese educational institutions and think tanks.

A key aspect of their conversation was centered around strengthening collaboration between the BTTN and Chinese think tanks and universities. Brigadier Gul proposed the establishment of a pilot program for the development of the Bostan industrial zone, suggesting that such initiatives could have a positive impact on socio-economic development in southern Balochistan and potentially dissuade hostile militant activities.

In the meeting, Brigadier Gul highlighted the cordial relations that exist between China and Pakistan.

Both parties expressed a strong desire to initiate collaborative projects with a focus on mutual interests and matters of strategic importance.

The meeting resulted in an agreement to maintain ongoing communication and cooperation, particularly in the domains of academia, socio-economic development, and research-related activities.
