Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday hinted that Asifa Bhutto is vying to represent masses from the remotest part of the country and most likely contest the next general elections from Chitral.

Addressing the public gathering in Chitral, the former foreign minister bemoaned that the country was witnessing severe economic hardships. ”Whenever we [PPP] had the opportunity, we delivered for the masses.’’

‘’I want to complete the mission of my leadership. But I will need your support in this regard,’’ he added.

He said, ‘’It seems as if the country will witness a further increase in hardships. I am feeling quite sad.’’

Schooling the opponents, Bhutto-Zardari said, ‘’They want to indulge in the vendetta. The masses have to bear their burden.’’

He underscored the potential in the country, saying, ‘’There is plenty of potential in the country.’’
