PPP to conquer Islamabad through power of vote: Nafisa Shah

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) senior leader Nafisa Shah said on Friday her party was looking to conquer Islamabad through power of the vote.

Addressing the corner meeting in Kot Diji, Nafisa asserted: “We [PPP] will emerge victorious in Sindh by 100 per cent.”

“The problems will not be addressed if the Islamabad will not be conquered.”

Shah said that the court had sentenced the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, not any other leader.

Speaking to the media in Sehwan, the former Sindh chief minister said: “The matter was revolving around the watch of Dubai, but fake receipts had been presented before the court.”

He urged the caretaker government to maintain the law and order situation in the country.

Taking a jibe at the PTI founder, Shah said, “The PTI founder had harmed the country’s economy’’.

Few days back, PPP leader Aseefa Bhutto Zardari said that her party stages politics to “uplift” the masses.

Addressing the public gathering in Tando Muhammad Khan, Aseefa said, “The PPP is fighting against skyrocketing inflation and poverty.” She took a swipe at the political opponents, saying, “The rest of the political parties have the greed to rule.”

She urged the masses to vote for the PPP, saying, “Cast vote for the PPP so that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari can fight for the masses.”
