Eid celebration turns tragic as truck carrying pilgrims crashes in Balochistan 12 Killed, 36 Injured

Eidul Fitr celebrations in Pakistan took a somber turn after a truck carrying pilgrims plunged into a ditch in Balochistan’s Hub district, leaving at least 12 people dead and 36 injured.

The accident occurred near Ayyan Peer on the first day of Eid, casting a shadow over what is traditionally a joyous occasion. Authorities fear the death toll may rise as some of the injured are in critical condition.

Following the ill-fated incident, rescue teams rushed to the scene to assist the victims. The injured were transported to nearby hospitals for medical treatment, while the deceased were transferred for identification purposes.

The community is left mourning the loss of loved ones and praying for the swift recovery of those injured in the tragic mishap.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi expressed deep regret over the unfortunate incident, extending heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the grieving families. He offered prayers for the speedy recovery of the injured, emphasizing his profound sadness at the loss of life in the tragic accident.
