PPP defeated PTI-PMLN-GDA- supported candidate in the NA 213 by-election

Islamabad, Pakistan, UMARKOT: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) has won NA 213 (Umarkot) by-election by defeating the PTI-PMLN-GDA-supported candidate.
Saba Talpur bagged 148,965 votes, followed by Lal Malhi, who was supported by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), PMLN, and GDA, who got 74,515 votes. It is pertinent to mention that PML-N also joined hands with GDA during the general elections of 2024 to defeat PPP in Sindh and continued its policy of supporting anti-PPP candidates in Sindh, although PML-N and PPP have a power-sharing formula. The total number of registered voters in the constituency is 608,997, including 287,311 women
