PPP HR Cell marks on Labour Day

Islamabad: On the Labour Day, the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) HR Cell saluted the indomitable spirit of workers and laborers across the nation.

“Today, we reaffirm our unwavering commitment to the rights, dignity, and welfare of the hardworking men and women who form the backbone of our society,” the PPP-HRC said in a statement.

Historically, the PPP has always stood shoulder to shoulder with laborers, championing their rights and advocating for policies that ensure fair wages, safe working conditions, and social security. Our party’s legacy is deeply rooted in the labor movement, having introduced landmark labor policies that have uplifted millions of workers and secured their fundamental rights, it said.

In Sindh, we have taken proactive steps to empower laborers further. The introduction of the Mazdoor Card is a testament to our commitment to ensuring accessible social security, health benefits, and welfare services for workers. This initiative aims to provide a comprehensive support system, enabling laborers to access essential services with ease and dignity, it added.

“We believe that a prosperous nation is built on the strength of its workers. On this Labour Day, we reaffirm our pledge to continue working tirelessly for the rights of laborers, ensuring they receive the respect, protection, and opportunities they deserve,” the PPP HRC said.
