PPP Germany President Syed Zahid Abbas Shah Meets senior PPP leadership to discuss political landscape

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Germany President Syed Zahid Abbas Shah held high-level meetings with senior party leaders during his recent visit to Pakistan.

Among those he met were former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf, Secretary General of PPP Parliamentarians Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari, senior PPP-AJK leader Chaudhry Mohammad Yasin, and renowned intellectual Professor Fateh Muhammad Malik.

The meetings focused on the current political situation in the country, preparations for future elections, party reorganization, and enhancing the role of the overseas Pakistani community in the party’s strategic and grassroots activities.

Zahid Abbas Shah reaffirmed his full support for PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and emphasized the role of PPP’s overseas chapters in promoting the party’s democratic ideals globally.

Former Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf appreciated the contributions of the overseas chapter under Shah’s leadership and called for unity and people-centric policies. Secretary General Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari welcomed increased coordination between PPP’s central and international wings.

In his meeting with Chaudhry Mohammad Yasin, matters relating to the political dynamics of Azad Jammu & Kashmir and international advocacy for the Kashmir issue were discussed. Mr. Yasin stressed the importance of amplifying the voice of Kashmiris globally.

During a profound intellectual exchange, Professor Fateh Muhammad Malik and Zahid Abbas Shah discussed ideological challenges and the historical journey of democracy in Pakistan. Professor Malik lauded PPP’s legacy as a people’s movement and stressed youth engagement in politics.
