Ambassador Baloch discusses trade ties with French finance ministry official

Paris: Ambassador of Pakistan to France Mumtaz Zahra Baloch on Wednesday held a meeting with Claire Cheremetinski, Deputy Director General of the Treasury at the French Ministry of Economy and Finance to strengthen Pakistan-France economic and trade relations.

During the meeting, they discussed the potential and opportunities for bilateral trade and investment, besides promoting joint initiatives and engaging the business communities of the two sides.

Besides the Pakistan-EU economic ties and the GSP Plus arrangement, the two sides also discussed the importance of strengthening multilateral trading system and cooperation in the WTO framework as well as economic and fiscal reforms in Pakistan.
