HWOO Energy Storage, headquartered in Ningbo, China, is recognized globally for its advanced and integrated energy solutions, particularly in the areas of renewable storage and clean energy technologies. As part of China’s broader interest in strengthening economic ties with Pakistan under initiatives like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), HWOO’s engagement signals a strategic move to support energy sustainability in Pakistan.

The delegation was led by President Daniels, along with Director Sales Ivan Sa Nogueiea and Director Marketing Wang Tao. Upon arrival at the ICCI, they were warmly welcomed by ICCI President Nasir Mansoor Qureshi and senior members of the Chamber.

He underscored the importance of the Pakistan-China economic partnership and emphasized Pakistan’s aspiration to develop an export-oriented, technologically driven industrial base. He also pointed out the need for foreign direct investment (FDI) in infrastructure, vocational training, and energy diversification to meet growing domestic demand and create employment.

President Daniels offered an overview of HWOO’s global operations and technological advancements, reaffirming the company’s commitment to providing innovative and accessible clean energy solutions. He expressed HWOO’s keen interest in entering the Pakistani market, noting that such an investment would enhance regional connectivity, support sustainable development goals (SDGs), and contribute to long-term energy resilience in Pakistan.

ICCI Vice President Nasir Mehmood Chaudhry and Executive Members Waseem Chaudhry, Irfan Chaudhry, Imran Minhas, and Rohail Anwar Butt also participated in the discussions, sharing insights on potential areas of cooperation, including smart grid integration, energy storage systems, and green industrial parks.

The visit reflects a growing momentum in Pakistan-China business engagement, particularly in critical sectors like energy, where innovation, infrastructure, and sustainability intersect. Both sides expressed optimism about establishing long-term partnerships that align with Pakistan’s national energy policy and climate commitments.
