Good France 2025 set to bring a slice of Paris to Lahore

Lahore: Food lovers in the Punjab capital are about to embark on an authentic French culinary tour without boarding a plane. Alliance Française Lahore, along with the French Embassy in Pakistan, has unveiled the Lahore edition of Good France 2025, the annual celebration of French gastronomy that runs 14–29 June.
Over the two‑week festival, eight hand‑picked restaurants across the city will roll out specially curated menus showcasing classic and contemporary French fare:
• Bistro Noir
• Amu
• Basilico
• Boulangerie by The Polo Lounge
• Avari Lahore (dining outlet)
• Observatory
• Cafe Aylanto Gulberg
• Caviar Club Lahore
Diners can expect everything from buttery viennoiseries and rustic Provençal stews to modern takes on seafood classics, with each venue offering prix‑fixe tastings or à‑la‑carte highlights crafted exclusively for the fortnight.
Now in its eleventh year globally, Good France (Goût de / Good France) was launched by France’s Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs to spotlight French gastronomy as a pillar of cultural diplomacy. The 2025 edition spans five continents, with participating chefs emphasising seasonality and sustainable sourcing.

Reservations and full menu details for Lahore can be found at the organisers’ website: aflahore.org/good-france.
Whether you crave a delicate mille‑feuille or a hearty boeuf bourguignon, the festival offers “an invitation to travel—one plate at a time.”
