Italy’s naval ship arrives in Karachi for three-day goodwill visit

Karachi: An Italian Navy ship, ITS Antonio Marceglia, has arrived at the Karachi Port for a three-day goodwill visit, aimed at strengthening bilateral maritime cooperation between Italy and Pakistan. The vessel received a warm welcome from officers of the Pakistan Navy and the Italian Ambassador upon its arrival.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the purpose of the visit is to promote mutual naval collaboration and enhance the ability to conduct joint operations. During the visit, personnel from both navies will engage in professional interactions and participate in joint exercises.
The regular visits of Italian naval ships to Pakistan reflect the growing maritime ties between the two nations. The Pakistan Navy remains committed to fostering long-term naval cooperation with key international naval forces, including the Italian Navy.
