Islamabad: Seven Pakistani French-language teachers are set to travel to France for a prestigious month-long training programme at CAVILAM, a leading language institute in Vichy.
French Ambassador Nicolas Galey welcomed the group at the embassy here on Monday and noted that three of the educators would be experiencing France for the first time. He said the teachers would depart from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad on July 4 to undergo professional development aimed at enhancing French language instruction in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Gout de France (Good France) is back in Pakistan for the second edition. Until June 29, a dozen restaurants in Lahore, Islamabad and Karachi are inviting people to discover their French-style menus. Presented by the French Embassy in Pakistan and the French Alliance, the initiative aims to promote French culinary expertise and foster cultural exchange through the universal language of gastronomy.
