PPP Germany President Zahid Abbas Shah applauds Jahan Ara Wattoo’s leadership during Germany visit

Berlin: Syed Zahid Abbas Shah, President of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Germany, has extended heartfelt congratulations and appreciation to Jahan Ara Wattoo for her outstanding leadership and representation of Pakistan during her recent visit to Germany.

In a statement issued on Wednesday, Zahid Abbas Shah praised Wattoo’s impactful role in leading the Pakistani delegation at the high-profile international workshop titled “Lead the Change for Social Protection,” held in Germany.

The workshop convened nearly 70 global leaders, development experts, and policy practitioners from around the world to exchange ideas and strategies on inclusive social protection reforms.

“You represented Pakistan with vision, confidence, and grace,” Zahid Abbas Shah stated, commending Wattoo’s contributions to the global discourse on equitable and sustainable social protection. “Your leadership at this forum was not only impactful but truly inspiring. It was a powerful reflection of your expertise and unwavering commitment to building a fairer, more inclusive world.”

He noted that her efforts helped elevate Pakistan’s voice on a critical international platform, strengthening relationships with global partners and enhancing the country’s image abroad.

In addition to recognizing her success at the workshop, Zahid Abbas Shah, on behalf of PPP Germany and the wider Pakistani community residing in the country, also congratulated Jahan Ara Wattoo on her election as Chairperson of the Women Leaders in Social Protection Network in Germany.
