Portugal stocks lower at close of trade; PSI down 0.92%

Lisbon: Portugal stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Technology sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI lost 0.92%.
The best performers of the session on the PSI were EDP Energias de Portugal SA (ELI:EDP), which rose 0.34% or 0.01 points to trade at 3.83 at the close. Meanwhile, Ibersol SGPS (ELI:IBS) unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to end at 9.82 and Galp Energia Nom (ELI:GALP) was down 0.12% or 0.02 points to 16.43 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Mota Engil SGPS SA (ELI:MOTA), which fell 3.74% or 0.19 points to trade at 4.84 at the close. Banco Comercial Portugues (ELI:BCP) declined 3.20% or 0.02 points to end at 0.74 and CTT Correios de Portugal SA (ELI:CTT) was down 2.85% or 0.22 points to 7.51.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 19 to 7 and 2 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for November delivery was down 2.07% or 1.41 to $66.81 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in October fell 2.15% or 1.39 to hit $63.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.47% or 16.05 to trade at $3,433.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.29% to 1.17, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.16% to 0.86.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 98.04.
