NUTECH launches MS and PHD Programs, showcases international collaboration through MS in CCEI

Islamabad: National University of Technology (NUTECH) has officially launched new MS programs in Artificial Intelligence Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering, along with a pioneering European Union funded MS program in Climate Change and Environmental Informatics (CCEI), aimed at addressing environmental challenges through data-driven solutions.
In a significant expansion of its academic portfolio, NUTECH also announced the introduction of PhD programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science, reinforcing its commitment to advanced research, innovation, and the development of highly skilled professionals in emerging fields.
The launch ceremony was held at NUTECH, attended by esteemed dignitaries, including H.E. Mr. Philipp Oliver Gross (Chargé d’Affaires, EU to Pakistan), H.E Mr. Philip Oliver Charged’ Affairs of EU, H.E. Dr. Dan Stoenescu (Ambassador of Romania), H.E. Ms.Ina Lepel (Ambassador of Germany), Ms. Mary O’Neill (Ambassador of Ireland), Mr. Peter Emil Nielsen Charge Affairs Interim and Mr. Tihomir Madzhev First Secretary Embassy of Bulgaria
During the event, the delegation was briefed on the EURAMUS ACTIVE Project, as well as NUTECH’s innovative academic model and national contributions in applied technological education. On the occasion, H. E. Mr. Philipp Oliver Gross (Charge d’Affaires, EU to Pakistan) highlighted that the new launched MS Climate Change and Environmental Informatics program will equip students to tackle climate change with confidence and innovation.
Lastly, H.E. Dr. Dan Stoenescu (Romanian Ambassador) and H. E. Ms. Ina Lepe (German Ambassador) also commended NUTECH’s academic leadership in starting the new program and enrollment of students in MS programs exceeding expectations, which will open new endeavors, encourage academic response to real solutions and make meaningful innovation with the highest close collaboration with industries.
