DPM for strengthening bilateral cooperation with Australia

Islamabad: Pakistan’s High Commissioner-designate to Australia Irfan Shaukat paid a farewell courtesy call on Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad on Tuesday.

Ishaq Dar appreciated Irfan Shaukat’s dedicated and professional contributions as his Chief of Staff for a year and a half, during key diplomatic and critical moments.

He extended best wishes for his tenure in Australia and urged him to strengthen trade, economic, and educational cooperation, as well as to actively engage the vibrant Pakistani diaspora.

The Deputy Prime Minister expressed confidence that the High Commissioner-designate will continue to serve Pakistan with distinction in his new role.
