Aurangzeb arrives in London on three-day visit to UK, Dr Faisal welcomes

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Finance Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb arrived in London on a three-day official visit Tuesday to the United Kingdom.

Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr Muhammad Faisal, and other officials welcomed the Federal Minister at London’s Heathrow Airport.

The Finance Minister’s visit aims at strengthening Pakistan-UK bilateral economic relations, promote foreign investment in Pakistan, and establish contacts with British government officials, international financial institutions, and business leaders in the UK.

FM Aurangzeb will attend an investment roundtable conference titled “Pakistan Access Day”. The conference is being organized by Jefferies, a leading UK investment banking firm.

The Finance Minister will also attend a roundtable conference with investors in the UK’s information technology sector. The conference will focus on business opportunities in Pakistan in the fields of artificial intelligence, mining and healthcare.
