Portugal stocks higher at close of trade; PSI up 0.41%

Lisbon: Portugal stocks were higher after the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Utilities and Telecoms sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI gained 0.41% to hit a new 5-year high.
The best performers of the session on the PSI were EDP Renovaveis (ELI:EDPR), which rose 1.79% or 0.16 points to trade at 9.09 at the close. Meanwhile, Sonae SGPS SA (ELI:YSO) added 1.30% or 0.02 points to end at 1.25 and Semapa (ELI:SEM) was up 0.70% or 0.12 points to 17.32 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Banco Comercial Portugues (ELI:BCP), which unchanged 0.35% or 0.00 points to trade at 0.68 at the close. Altri SGPS SA (ELI:ALSS) declined 0.19% or 0.01 points to end at 5.25 and Corticeira Amorim (ELI:CORA) was down 0.13% or 0.01 points to 7.69.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Lisbon Stock Exchange by 15 to 12 and 4 ended unchanged.
Brent oil for August delivery was up 1.67% or 1.08 to $65.71 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 1.71% or 1.07 to hit $63.59 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.63% or 21.43 to trade at $3,375.77 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.55% to 1.14, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.44% to 0.84.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.50% at 99.13.
