Islamabad: Educators across South Asia are invited to a dynamic three-day professional development experience at the South Asia TeachingEnglish Online Conference 2025, taking place from 17 to 19 July 2025.
This free, fully online event is designed for primary and secondary English teachers and education professionals, with sessions tailored to address some of the most important themes shaping English language teaching today.
With the theme “Supporting Teachers’ Professional Development”, the conference offers nine thought-provoking sessions including three expert-led panel discussions. Teachers will explore sessions on inclusive practices to support all learners, integration of 21st century skills in the English classroom and how digital technology and AI can enhance learning and teaching. The first theme explores inclusive education practices, providing educators with strategies to create classrooms where every learner feels valued and supported. The second theme delves into integrating 21st-century skills—such as critical thinking, collaboration, and global citizenship—into English language teaching, preparing students for a rapidly changing world. The final theme highlights the transformative role of digital technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) in enhancing teaching and learning, equipping educators with innovative tools to engage diverse classrooms effectively. Together, these themes offer a holistic approach to building future-ready English education across South Asia.
At the heart of this conference are the renowned speakers and practitioners from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, UK and Greece who bring decades of classroom experience, academic research, and innovation to the table. Spanning South Asia and beyond, this diverse panel offers participants the chance to learn from leaders who are redefining English language education all working at the forefront of inclusive education, 21st-century skills, and digital integration.
