Mahnoor Tiwana’s solo exhibition ‘An Kahi’ gives voice to the unspoken

Lahore: The Alliance Française de Lahore is set to host “An Kahi”—a solo exhibition by emerging artist Mahnoor Tiwana—inviting audiences into a deeply personal exploration of silence, trauma, and the unexpressed emotions of the human spirit.
Running from September 3 to 5 at La Galerie, the exhibition presents an evocative collection of works that blend raw emotion with symbolic imagery. Tiwana’s art draws viewers into desolate landscapes, distorted figures, and the recurring motif of twin faces—each canvas reflecting the weight of unvoiced struggles and hidden anguish.
Organizers describe “An Kahi” as a journey into the depths of the human psyche, where silence itself becomes a form of testimony. “It is an exhibition that allows silence to speak volumes,” a spokesperson said, noting that Tiwana’s work resonates with universal themes of resilience, vulnerability, and healing.
The exhibition will be open daily from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., offering art enthusiasts and the general public an opportunity to experience a powerful visual dialogue that goes beyond words.
