The study has found that 98.9 per cent of citizens of Italy will remain in this country, for Christmas and of them 72.3 will not go further than the region.

In addition the study shows that the average per capita expenditure will be about 842 euros, during the Christmas time while a large part or 795 euros will be for those staying in Italy and 2,300 for those going abroad.

As for New Year’s Eve, the majority of Italians will remain in this country.

“The majority (89.6 per cent ) will remain in Italy, mainly choosing the mountains (30.4 per cent), cities other than their residence (30.4 per cent) and places of art (27.9 per cebt). Those who go abroad will choose the big European capitals (78.6 per cent) and the sea (10.7 per cent),” the statement notes.

According to the recent report provided by ACS Marketing Solution, the average per capita expenditure will be about 553 euros. At the same time, it will be spent on meals, as well as accommodation and travel.
