Govt has to reveal IMF terms: Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar

Islamabad: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar has said that the government has to reveal the terms of the agreement it has made with the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

The spokesperson to the PPP chief Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, he said that the government cannot be allowed to toy with the country.

Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry should answer why the agreement is not being revealed if it has no anti-people terms and conditions, he said.

In reaction to Fawad Chaudhry’s press conference, Senator Khokhar said that the government has made a habit out of misleading and misinforming the nation.

He said that the government is trying to hide its incompetence by constantly blaming the opposition. He said that the people await another wave of price hike which will cause further destruction and the real meaning of PM’s “tsunami” is now crystal clear.

Senator Khokhar concluded by saying that the immature attitude and statements of cabinet members are of no help to the nation as it is no longer under the spell of a so called “Naya (new) Pakistan”.
