China wants peace and prosperity in Pakistan: Ambassador Nong Rong

Islamabad: Chinese ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong has said that his country wanted peace s prosperity in Pakistan as Muslims celebrated Eid.
In a tweet in Urdu language, he said China wished peace and prosperity on Eid in Pakistan. He greeted the Muslims on the festival, ending a month fasting and special prayers.
Muslims across Pakistan celebrated the second day of Eid on Friday. The three-day Eid started on Thursday.
In a separate tweet on Friday, Ambassador Rong said the Metrological Construction Company of China (MCC) has been growing with local community in Balochistan for 18 years.
He said the MCC was providing jobs to local people and contributing to economic, scientific, educational, cultural and healthcare development.
“Their success gives the company more confidence to take roots & for cooperation,” he added.
MCC has an amazing historical background of work in different sectors including health and education, particularly in Balochistan.
During its 18 years’ development, it has made contributions for Pakistan’s national exchequer, initiated the non-ferrous metal industry, cultivated skilled workers, provided accommodated about 1,700 Pakistani employees, supplied free electricity and water, education, health care to nearby residents.
