PPP Islamabad holds demonstration against inflation

Islamabad: On the instruction of Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the PPP Islamabad organised a protest demonstration against inflation in sector E-11 Islamabad led by the Secretary General PPP Syed Nayyar Hussain Bukhari.

The PPP Secretary General addressing the demonstration said that Imran Khan’s energy minister says Pakistan is a cheap country. The minister does not buy and pay anything from his own pocket including petrol, electricityand gas. Bukhari added that poor people are being ridiculed by this statement.

Nayyar Bukhari further said that the poor cannot have two meals a day. The people and the opposition must come to the streets and overthrow the government of Imran Khan. Nayyar Bukhari said that the Finance Minister has said that there will be more inflation. Bukhari further said that Chairman Bilawal Bhutto himself will announce the strategy of the next protest of Pakistan People’s Party.

He further said that Sheikh Rashid changes his statement and every third day and party every fourth. He expressed sympathy with the families of the victims, police and civilians. Why did the rulers sign such an agreement, he asked.

A large number of workers participated in the demonstration. Secretariat in-charge Syed Sibt-ul-Haider Bukhari, Iftikhar, Prince Malik Ajmal, Ijaz, Abrar Rizvi, Raja Shakeel, Adnan Shah, Shazia Batool, Umar Khan, Raja Imtiaz and Ehtesham Waheed Satti were present in the protest.
