Italy must encourage regular migration, says Tajani

Rome: Italy needs to open its doors to regular migrants, Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said on Monday.

“Our businesses need them,” he told Tgcom24.

“We need to encourage regular migration. We can bring tens of thousands of regular migrants to Italy, who have been trained in their countries,” said Tajani.

“Then there is need for investment. Italy can do a lot, but it risks being a drop in the ocean because the migration phenomenon is too big. Greater European solidarity is required,” he concluded. (ANSA).
