Pakistan, China keen to strengthen future collaborations in crucial energy sector

Islamabad: Pakistani Caretaker Federal Minister for Power and Petroleum, Muhammad Ali, held an important meeting with Mr. Zhang, the Vice President of China National Petroleum Corporation on Monday afternoon.

This meeting took place on the sidelines of the prestigious Abu Dhabi International Progressive Energy Congress (ADIPEC).

According to an official statement issued here, the discussions during the meeting primarily focused on a range of shared interests between the two nations.

Both parties expressed their keenness to strengthen future collaborations in the crucial energy sector.

ADIPEC, globally recognized as one of the most extensive gatherings in the energy sector, is presently taking place in Abu Dhabi.

It has attracted participation from 2,200 companies and boasts 30 country pavilions that showcase cutting-edge energy strategies and innovations.

Pakistan is actively engaged in ADIPEC, with the event scheduled to span from October 2 to October 5.

More than ten companies are representing Pakistan at this event, emphasizing the nation’s dedication to engaging with the global energy community and exploring opportunities for progress and cooperation within the energy industry.
